Ar present, women go into a world completely dominated by Masculine ideas and values, but this will change. I was watching a programme on BBC One recently called ‘The Island that changed my life’. A young woman went to live in North Ronaldsay, the most northern and remote island in Orkney. She’d been living in Edinburgh and knew it wasn’t right for her to stay there., so she moved and was happy. On the Island, everyone helps each other and looks after the land. This is the way we are all supposed to live and will live, when the Feminine is believed in and honoured: when women insist that relationship is honoured, relationship with every living being including the Earth.
I remember in the film ‘Braveheart’, when the Scots talked about having ‘a country of our own’. Life has been taken over completely by the Masculine. Look at the situation in the world now. One of the rules and laws of the Feminine is that the ends don’t justify the means. I wrote an ‘If ‘ list a long time ago: a list of what would happen if the Feminine were included in life. One of the things was that ‘no new project would ever go ahead without considering the needs of all life during the project and after it’. This week in Laos, a dam bust and many drowned because this was ignored.
Over the centuries and during so many wars, men have had to ignore their feelings and the body, so both are left out of the structures and values of society. This has to change. It’s amazing that we live in a world where we allow love to only be the guiding principle for our sexual relationship and our family, pets and sometimes friends. This leaves out the fate of everyone else. It leaves out the body and the soul. It leaves out matter and soul as realities. Now this can change.
My work is not about Feminism. Of course I believe that men and women are equal. I also believe that spiritually they are also equal, and that the Feminine aspect of what we call God has to be equally represented in society. Kindness to all. And safety. My work has been about differentiating the Feminine, so She can have a voice in life. Let’s do it! Let’s get our lives back and make the world a kind place where no living creature is treated unkindly, for any reason. Ever. This is Feminine Law.
